Major repairs to the tourist infrastructure of the abbey
The Government of Quebec is granting $5 million in financial assistance to the Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac to support the completion of a project to repair its infrastructure.
This was announced by the MNA for Orford, Mr. Gilles Bélanger, on behalf of the Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Lanaudière and Bas-Saint-Laurent regions, Ms. Caroline Proulx.
The monastery of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac, recognized worldwide in the world of tourism, will soon carry out major renovations on its main buildings.
