Religious Heritage Days

Religious Heritage Days, an annual event, aims to open the doors to religious heritage buildings from different periods of construction, allowing people to get to know and appreciate them.

Registration is open to sites from all religious traditions, including sites that have undergone transformations, as well as to those that allow visitors to discover the religious diversity that enlivens Québec today.

Sites register on a voluntary basis and are expected to offer access to visitors free of charge. Donations can be collected on site.

2021 Edition

The fourth edition of the event will take place across the entire province of Québec on Saturday September 11 and Sunday September 12, 2021. In the context of the collective effort to counter the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the event will take place in compliance with public health rules and sites’ capacity to welcome visitors.

An invitation to travel within your own neighborhood or village

The Religious Heritage Days event provides an opportunity for citizens to practice local and responsible tourism and to get involved in their communities. You will find more information on the event's microsite and social media :
