Non-textual documents: an overview

News - October 7th, 2016

The conference "non-textual documents: an overview", which will be given in Montreal on October 21 and in Quebec City, on October 25, by François Cartier, archivist, will aim to present each of the known archival media.

Where do they come from and what was their evolution? What are their physical properties? Why are they used? How to store? And digital in? How does it influence our use and management of these types of documents?

A workshop that will allow everyone to better tame the multiplicity of documentary supports inherent in modern archival practice.
