These wooden churches that bring us together

The MRC de Coaticook presents a conference on Thursday, October 13, at 7 p.m., at the Sainte-Edwidge church, located at 1399, chemin Favreau, in Sainte-Edwidge-de-Clifton (Estrie).

This conference will be given by Josette Michaud, architect of Ateliers Beaupré Michaud.

Recognized for her expertise in the field of the restoration of heritage buildings, especially heritage churches, Josette Michaud will present a conference on the wooden churches of the MRC of Coaticook: Épiphany, Way's Mills Union, Barnston Baptist, Baldwin United, Eglise Sainte -Edwidge, Saint-Malo, St. Barnabas and Huntingville Universalist.

Josette Michaud will allow us to better understand the value of these churches both for their exterior and interior architectural characteristics.

This conference is made possible thanks to the Cultural Development Agreement concluded between the MRC de Coaticook and the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec.
