Classification of the heritage site of the Abbey-Notre-Dame-du-Lac-à-Oka
The Minister of Culture and Communications, Nathalie Roy, announces the classification, under the Cultural Heritage Act, of the heritage site of the Abbaye-Notre-Dame-du-Lac-à-Oka and two buildings located inside the site, namely the abbey and the rotunda. Through this gesture, it wishes to preserve the historical, architectural and landscape values that characterize these heritage properties located in the city of Oka.
