Ring the matins! Keep clocks and chimes
On Thursday, May 19, 2022, ATP Québec (The International Association for Preservation and its Techniques) presents, in coordination with Action patrimoine, two conferences on the issues of conservation and restoration of clocks, chimes, and steeples in Québec, but also in France.
The example of the spire of Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal will be discussed to explain the challenges of restoring the bell and the four faces of the clock.
