Funded projects for the financial year 2021-2022 (15 M$)

The Minister of Culture and Communications, Nathalie Roy, announced that the Government of Quebec will offer $ 15 million in 2021-2022 to ensure throughout Quebec the protection, transmission and enhancement of cultural heritage of religious. She made the announcement at Saint-François-Xavier Cathedral in Saguenay, along with Ms. Andrée Laforest, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and Minister responsible for the Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean region, as well as that of Mrs. Josée Grandmont, president of the Council of religious heritage of Quebec (CPRQ). The $ 15 million donated will be used more specifically to carry out 73 restoration projects, including 67 buildings and 6 works of art and organs, spread over several regions.
