Every Thursday in March, the MRC d'Arthabaska and the City of Victoriaville invite the people of their territory to celebrate the heritage through workshops, conferences and exhibitions, among others.

The journalist Hélène Ruel, spokesperson for the event, said that "the preservation of heritage, whether family or collective, often touches a chord, that leading to the heart". According to her experience, it provokes a lot of emotions, especially when it comes to deciding whether to renovate, protect, restore or simply disappear. "The protection of all heritages requires investment, space, time, political will and people," she said. But to appreciate the heritage value of what surrounds us, we must learn to gauge it, she noted. "Hertage Thursdays" will therefore provide opportunities to discuss different aspects of the subject.
