$ 15M for the restoration of religious buildings throughout Quebec

The Government of Quebec is contributing $ 15M in 2020-2021 to protect, transmit and enhance cultural heritage of a religious nature throughout Quebec. This sum will be used for the restoration of religious heritage buildings and objects.

The Minister of Culture and Communications, Mrs. Nathalie Roy, made the announcement today at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste cathedral in Nicolet, with Mr. Jean Boulet, Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Mauricie region, Mr. Donald Martel, Member of Parliament for Nicolet-Bécancour, and Ms. Josée Grandmont, President of the Quebec Religious Heritage Council.
