2021 Edition Winner - Volunteer Prize

The jury wishes to underline the perseverance and dedication of Denise Dion in her efforts to seek funding for the conservation of the Sainte-Amélie heritage church in Baie-Comeau. Thanks to her leadership, she was able to convince the various stakeholders of the importance of sustaining the Corporation Sainte-Amélie, which oversees the conservation and enhancement of an important religious heritage. Today, locals as well as regional and international tourists discover and appreciate the frescoes by Guido Nincheri as well as the stained glass windows in the church.
