2021 Edition Winner - Reuse Prize

The Espace culturel Le Vitrail project won the Prize of Excellence for its respect for the existing building, whose volume is distinguished by the presence of exceptional stained glass windows. Such a result demonstrates the compatibility of the new function with the church's modern architecture. Special care was taken to highlight the building's history through its new vocation. The jury also underlines the mobilization of the community, in particular, the citizens' committee and the Maison Gamache & Nadeau in order to create a space for cultural dissemination for the community of Thetford Mines.
